The jagged inner tooling prevents the specialized bits to be duplicated. KEY-REX™ is specifically designed per application with bit codes unique and registered exclusively to the owner, making it more than a just a secure screw - making it the new age in custom, high security screws.

Who are we?
Bryce Fastener is a manufacturer of high security tamper proof screws, specializing in proprietary and uncommon security screw drives or keyways. Bryce Fastener’s screws provide higher security levels than traditional tamper-proof; tamper-resistant screws (see tamperproof screw myth). Customers benefited are those that have higher than normal security risks. Our preferred customers are businesses and governments.

What makes us better?
All Bryce Fastener keyways were developed because of the security breaches found using traditional "tamper resistant", "vandal proof" screws. Though traditional tamperproof screws were once fairly secure, the accessibility of imported driver bits led to losses. For example, the "Tamper Proof /Security Fasteners 32-pc. Screwdriver Set", available from Sears, removes all tradition security screws. Bryce Fastener keyways were designed to defeat these security screwdrivers and all others known worldwide. Why is the product better?
Penta-plus™ and Penta-nut™ are proprietary security drives that have a very select customer base. Customers are screened and access to screw drivers is limited.

Key-Rex™ is a one-of-a-kind "key like" drive. Variations number in the millions and are impractical to duplicate. The "keyways" carry private licenses giving customers exclusive access. Our selection of security screws is the most secure in the industry and engineered to stay that way.

How are we better?
Manufacturing high security screws requires superior methods. Bryce Fastener manufactures one-of-a- kind security screws, with small minimum order quantities and short lead times. The matching screwdrivers are made in-house and distribution is tightly controlled. The secret tooling required is designed and manufactured by Bryce Fastener. Designs are Patent protected. Security protocols are followed. In short, Bryce Fastener delivers value added services necessary to produce high security. It is unmatched in the security screw industry.

Is the cost reasonable?
We have 3 different levels of security products. Prices rise with the security level. In all cases the "cost of the loss" should be considered before selection is made. Hex-pin and Tam-6lobe provide the first level of "Vandal-proof, tamper-resistant" security (but not much more). Penta-plus™, and Penta nut™ provide the second level. Key-Rex™ is level three, which is the highest security available. Level two and three usually require minimum order runs.
